This includes implementing drug testing in the workplace. If you do not have drug testing in the workplace you run the risk of accidents and injuries occurring. The clear and concise policy should be a part of the employee orientation. The rules of how and when drug testing in the workplace can be implemented should be public knowledge.
If the company does not have a full time employee that implements these rules they can always find the help they need for this. Companies like Proactive Health and Safety have policies that can be implemented and they can be hired as a full or part time employee.
The less accidents and injuries that can be attributed to drug abuse on the jobsite the better it is for all concerned. The company takes responsibility for encouraging the employee to be involved in the economic stability. When this happens implementing drug testing in the workplace becomes part of this stability.
The employee knows that drug use on the job is not tolerated and that the company cares about the health and safety of every employee. If everyone works together to achieve success of this policy then everyone wins. The atmosphere at the workplace is happy and more productive.
